Anissa and I established Cantell & Co in 2013 to do things differently: to deliver an honest, professional – and personal – service.

Our clients appreciate our approach and, having lived in Richmond for 17+ years, it’s easy for us to promote Richmond as a wonderful place to set up home.

After a decade in business, I can say with certainty that ‘being different’ works. In 2019 Rightmove and Property Academy rated us the Best Estate Agent Branch in Great Britain – ahead of every multi-national and every other privately owned estate agent.

We continue to invest in the business, and we look forward to helping even more people achieve their dream of moving to a new home.

David and I set up Cantell & Co a decade ago, and from day one it’s been an amazing experience.

Slowly but surely, the local community has embraced our ethos and helped us achieve our success, with great referrals and even greater loyalty.

If we feel we can’t help with a sale or let and have nothing of merit to offer, we decline the business. This approach may sound counter-intuitive, but life is complicated enough without your estate agent spinning you a yarn.

Helping someone to sell their home is a very personal service, and we build a strong partnership with our clients. At the end of the day, our reputation – and our integrity – mean everything to us.

I became an estate agent in 2005 – starting my career with David – and I came full circle when I joined Cantell & Co in 2017.

Having seen what Anissa and David had accomplished as a team of two, I believed I could enhance and progress the business.

It is a collaborative affair: having worked together for so long, we can pick up the ball from each other with ease. David, Anissa and I do all of our viewings (including on Saturdays) so every Cantell & Co sale or search is in the hands of a seasoned professional.

As specialists in Richmond and the surrounding areas, we sell large family homes on Richmond Hill through to the smallest of Alberts cottages.

David and Anissa suggested I join them in 2019 to head up their lettings business so, after 10+ years managing another Richmond agency, I became part of the Cantell & Co team.

Since day one, I’ve found that following the company ethos is easy. The way we conduct business reflects our aspiration to belong to a strong community.

I have a great network of relocation agents who attract corporate tenants to our properties.

Over the years, I’ve seen the lettings legislative landscape change dramatically and my relationships with landlords and tenants alike make it easy for me to talk things through and give everyone my best advice.

After nearly two decades working in property across Richmond and the surrounding borough, I joined Cantell & Co in 2019.

As office manager I oversee the administration and finance aspects, but I also have great property industry knowledge and experience – so I can pitch in wherever needed.

I’ve lived in Richmond my whole life and met Russell (Cantell & Co Partner) when we both previously worked for David.

We now have two young children who attend local schools. Having known David and Anissa since 2005, our shared backgrounds help make this cohesive, supportive team.
